Wayne Bergeron Europe tour 2017
Trumpet legend Wayne Bergeron to tour Europe in March 2017
Yamaha Music Europe is very delighted to announce the Wayne Bergeron tour. One of the most sought-after musicians in the world, Wayne Bergeron will tour Europe between the 2nd and 10th March 2017.
A Yamaha International Artist and co-designer of the YTR-8335LA trumpet and YFH-8315G Flugel Horn, Wayne was last on tour in Europe in 2012 where he enjoyed a sold out tour.
Wayne Bergeron is one of the most active players on the Los Angeles scene with studio dates, International touring, jazz concerts, guest soloist appearances and clinics and he has no intention of slowing down any time soon.
As a sideman Wayne has been involved with hundreds of CD projects that include Beyoncé, Chicago, Celine Dion, Billy Joel, Diana Krall, Mel Torme, Barry Manilow, Arturo Sandoval, and Robbie Williams to name but a few.
Wayne also works as a clinician/educator and feels it’s important to “give back” by mentoring young musicians. His skills have taken him to different parts of the globe as a clinician/soloist and Wayne annually performs in Switzerland at the Aarau Jazz Festival and has toured Japan as a guest soloist. Wayne currently teaches privately at California State University Northridge.
Bergeron will be engaged in a number of different activities and participants will get the opportunity to engage with Wayne and to see him in action. With all events held in conjunction with Yamaha’s Pro Shop Selection Centre network, players will also get the opportunity to test Yamaha’s world class range of trumpets.
