Yamaha Brings The Value of Superior Sound To Hotelympia 2018

Hospitality industry patrons often only consciously notice sound when it is a negative thing, such as unwanted ‘noise’. However, a pleasant and inviting soundscape is a fundamental part of the hospitality experience, which is why Yamaha is exhibiting at London’s Hotelympia exhibition in March.

Most people think of great service, facilities, décor, food and drink as important parts of a positive hotel, drinking or dining experience. At Hotelympia, which takes place at London’s ExCel from 5th - 8th March, Yamaha will be demonstrating why high quality sound is every bit as important.

On Stand 2138, the company will offer a window into its audio solutions, which are being widely adopted by hotels, restaurants and bars throughout the global hospitality market. These include everything from discreet, networked sound systems with remarkably simple control, through to self-playing grand pianos that add a major touch of class to any establishment.

Yamaha is also working with property-based design, project management and development company LXA to deliver The Ultimate Dining Experience. An interactive, experiential attraction - based on the results of a survey run by show organiser Fresh Montgomery and independent restaurant guide SquareMeal - the Yamaha audio installation will prove to Hotelympia visitors ears why high quality sound is so important for the hospitality industry.

Finally, Yamaha is partnering with Aztec Events to provide the audio system at three theatres within the show, where talk panels and discussions will be held across all four days. Launchpad will feature inspirational talks by hospitality entrepreneurs, discussing how they succeeded in the business; Hospitality Futures will host seminars and discussion forums on many topics relevant to the future of the industry, while the Tech Innovation Stage will be where visitors can get up to date with the very latest in hospitality technology.

“Although patrons may not realise it, Yamaha audio technology is an increasingly fundamental part of the customer experience,” says Chris Irvine, Marketing Manager at Yamaha Commercial Audio (UK & ROI). “Our significant presence at Hotelympia will show why our systems are the best choice, from multinational chains through to single, privately-owned venues.”

“Having Yamaha playing such a role at the UK’s largest and most prestigious hospitality event lays bare the diversity in our show offering,” adds Matthew Smith, Commercial Manager at Fresh Montgomery. “Not only can our visitors source sound solutions to accompany their decor, but they can look to expand their business models by hosting conferences and meetings for local business in spare function rooms. We’re delighted to be partnering with such a forward thinking supplier.”
