The sound is very powerful and immediately recognizable as a distinctive quality of the instrument. The piano has a strong presence and can easily fill a large room with sound, clearly exceeding what one would normally expect from its size.

The instrument feels familiar to me, as I already work with a C2X. As with any piano, it takes time to fully get to know its character. Within its category, it offers a well-balanced overall concept, with Yamaha’s mechanical ergonomics making it particularly approachable and comfortable to play for a wide range of pianists.
